CENDANA – Art in The City map

CENDANA is Malaysia’s Cultural Economy Development Agency and is the government agency responsible for improving the cultural sector of the creative economy.. As part of their ongoing efforts, CENDANA launched the Art In The City campaign with the aim of bringing art to the people of Kuala Lumpur. 13 artists and 14 artworks would be strategically highlighted and Blade Digital Media was commissioned to create a user-friendly map featuring the artists (bios), their works and display locations around the city through illustrations. The aim of the map was to offer a simple, interesting way to get around the city looking for the murals and digital boards while discovering who the artists were. The BDM team walked the routes, researched the artists and streamlined the information for mainstream reading. With 50,000 copies of the map distributed throughout the city, CENDANA were pleased with the successful outcome of this project.

Designed to showcase the exemplary qualities of the brand and the importance of well tailored bespoke attire, it includes fashion shoots, interviews and features that inform and highlight the brand's connection with timeless style and independent thinking.

Honda With Dreams

With Dreams is a 24-page quarterly magazine produced on behalf of Honda Malaysia. Distributed at Honda showrooms and to Honda car owners, With Dreams was previously focused on delivering only Honda-related content to its readership. Tasked with increasing engagement, Blade Digital Media conceives and produces lifestyle content to supplement Honda’s existing content. Encompassing travel, food & drink, health, fitness and wellness, and entertainment and culture, the content is selected to support Honda ideals and encourage Honda owners to get in their car and pursue their passions. Blade Digital Media also manages all design aspects of the title including its initial refresh.

Tropicana Magazine is the corporate magazine for Tropicana Corporation. It is read by residents of all developments under its name, distributed in Tropicana developments, and given to the clients and contacts of the corporation. It conveys the lifestyle element integral to the Tropicana brand, as well as promotes the businesses operating within its properties.

A redesign of Ikano Johor’s leasing brochure for its upcoming Toppen shopping mall involved the production of copy suitable for use by its sales staff and a reimagined layout with freshly designed maps and illustrated floor plans in line with Toppen’s corporate identity and brand ideals.

THE CIRCULAR

The official magazine for the Royal Selangor Golf Club, we undertook the production of monthly print title, The Circular for a duration of 8 years. Reconceptualised to take on a luxury lifestyle feel, we were responsible for the development of its annual editorial calendar, production of lifestyle content and sale of advertisement space within the magazine. We also worked in tandem with RSGC’s own Editorial Board in order to deliver timely club-related content that featured club members and the club’s activities.

Hong Leong - The Mach Life

When Hong Leong Bank first introduced its Mach Card, it sought to produce a lifestyle digital presence that reached out to its young, outgoing, upwardly mobile target audience. With this in mind, we conceptualised, built, developed, generated content for as well as launched the accompanying new website, The Mach Life, which utilised both original and repurposed content from our licensed title, Time Out KL.
